Our boys are very adventurous and curious, always playing with enrichment and climbing to the tippy top of towers their keepers build. Our girls spend their days eating crickets (very lady-like!) and lounging about like the Princesses they are!
Meerkats live in Africa, inhabiting arid areas, savannas, and grasslands. They are highly social and live in mobs of up to 30 individuals. Meerkats are listed as Least Concern with a stable population on the IUCN Red List.
