Primate Co-existence and Biodiversity on the Planet
Victoria DeLuccia - Animal Ambassador Keeper
Lindsay Harney - Tropical Forest 1 Lead Keeper/Registrar
Erin Perotta - Menagerie Keeper
Staten Island Zoo professionals, Lindsay Harney, Tropical Forest 1 Lead Keeper, and Victoria DeLuccia, Ambassador Animal Keeper have been conducting an observational study on the Bolivian Gray Titi- Monkeys for the past year. Their ongoing research takes a deep dive into the world of their family relationship and social ties to one another, as well as to understand exhibiting behaviors that each individual uniquely has. While many questions may still have yet to be answered, our zoo professionals provide education and public outreach opportunities to better inform our guests of the incredible work they do to build a better future for our ambassador animals, as well as their wild counterparts.
Join us virtually on Saturday, June 17th at 12 pm, as Vicky and Lindsay speak about their ongong research. Menagerie keeper, Erin will bring us behind the scenes to meet our little family of three, Philo- baby (age: 3), Tacama- mom (age: 10) and Fritz- dad (age:11).
Q & A will occur after the presentation.
Zoom registration link will be included on your receipt. Access link will be sent immediately following your Zoom registration.
