Goes Blue for Autism
An Access Art for All Event
Monday, October 8, 2018
9:00am - 12:00pm
The Staten Island Zoo is once again proud to be Going Blue in partnership with Autism Speaks, providing a friendly, judgement-free environment for families affected by autism spectrum disorders. The day will allow families to enjoy the great offerings provided by the zoo, in addition to animal presentations, sensory exploration activities, and a scavenger hunt! A quiet area will be available for families who would like to take a break from the activities. Gates will open one hour early at 9:00am so families can enjoy our outdoor exhibits. Activities will run until 12:00pm.
Limited tickets available for online purchase only.
General Admission ticket price ($6.00) includes activities for all!
Tickets much be purchased in advance. There will be no tickets sold at the door.
This is an Access Art for All event! Be on the lookout for additional events this year at Staten Island Zoo, Staten Island Museum, and Staten Island Children's Museum!
