The Staten Island Zoo is offering virtual programs every week perfect for homeschooled students and those participating in remote learning. 

Every Wednesday from 12pm - 12:45pm. 

April 21 - Adaptations

Adaptations are developed over time and help animals survive and reproduce.  This class will focus on the amazing adaptations that animals employ when eating, defending themselves, moving from place to place, and more. Our Zoo Educator will present three animals with unique physical & behavioral adaptations, and participate in a Q&A session with the students.

Recommended Grades:  6th Grade through 8th Grade
