The Staten Island Zoo is offering virtual programs every week perfect for homeschooled students and those participating in remote learning. 

Every Wednesday from 12pm - 12:45pm. 

May 19 - Predator vs. Prey

The predator/prey relationship is one of the most important in the natural world.  It drives natural selection and is what all animals depend upon to live.  Join the zoo as we look at the adaptations and strategies that animals have to survive in their habitat.  You will see animals from the zoo's collection that demonstrate predator and prey characteristics.

Recommended Grades:  6th Grade through 8th Grade
