Symbolically adopt our Bamboo Sharks, Tasha & Beverly!

Tasha & Beverly can be found in our coral reef tank, usually swimming along the bottom--it's the best place to find their favorite food, shrimp!  Graceful and beautiful, our girls are actually enjoy interacting with their keeper.  Tasha in particular swims right up to participate in training sessions.

Bamboo sharks are found in the Indo-Pacific, at depths of 5 to 80 meters in inshore areas.  They are oviparous, and deposits their eggs in oval cases on the sea bottom.  Bamboo sharks are listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN red list.
