Our fennec foxes, Gregory and Clover, are always a crowd favorite!  And who couldn't love these cute little guys, with their big ears??  Being nocturnal, they can often be found sleeping on their comfy beds that their keepers give them.  They also love snacking on bugs which they chase around their exhibit!

Fennec Foxes are most commonly found in the Sahara, although they can also be found in Morocco, Kuwait, Nigeria and Chad.  They have several adaptions for life in the desert, including their trademark ears which help release heat.  They are listed as Least Concern on the IUCN red list.
