Our kangaroo mob is as cute as can be!  Our four ladies, Adelaide, Sydney, Nugget, and Alkina, will greet you as you enter the Zoo.  They share their space with fellow Australians, our emu brothers Billy & Lynn.  They have a bit of a sweet tooth, enjoying their grapes  These sun-bathing beauties love to lounge around their habitat in the warm weather.  

Red Kangaroos can be found throughout the arid regions of Australia, in scrublands, grassland, woodland, and desert.  They occur in small groups called mobs. They can reach top speeds of 40 mph and cover up to 30 feet with one leap.  Red kangaroos are listed as Least Concern on the IUCN red list with a stable population.
