Our ring tailed lemur family consists of Rey, Jyn, Han, Wicket, Leia, and.....Moose! They love jumping around their exhibit and playing with the enrichment their keeper creates for them, before snacking on their favorite treats like peanut butter and raisins.  After an eventful morning, they can be found basking in the sun under their sky lights.  

Ring tailed lemurs live in southern and southwestern Madagascar, in forests and brush habitats.  Unlike most lemur species, ring tails spend a considerable amount of time on the ground.  Because they eat a lot of fruit, this species is important for seed dispersal.  Ring tailed lemurs are listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.
