Our flying foxes family--Quill, Rocket, Groot, Drax, and Yondu--are the greatest in the galaxy!  They can frequently be found climbing around upside down over the many rope hanging through their exhibit, which they share with our crested guineafowl and buffalo weavers.  Wouldn't you love to be THEIR guardian?

Rodrigeus Flying Foxes, or Fruit Bats, live on one island in the Western Indian Ocean called Mauritius.  They range from sea level to the highest point on the island.  They are frugivorous, meaning they only eat fruit, and so are important seed dispersers.  They are listed as endangered on the IUCN red list, due to a small range, climate change, and habitat exploitation.
