One look at our meerkat mob is enough to make your fairytale dreams come true!  Our boys are very adventurous and curious, always playing with enrichment and climbing to the tippy top of towers their keepers build.  Our girls spend their days eating crickets (very lady-like!) and lounging about like the Princesses they are.  Our four Golden Girls--Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia--were born in the spring of 2024, and love exploring their new world!

Meerkats live in Africa, inhabiting arid areas, savannas, and grasslands.  They are highly social and live in mobs of up to 30 individuals.  Meerkats are listed as Least Concern with a stable population on the IUCN Red List.
