Symbolically adopt our Galapagos Tortoises!

Did you know a group of tortoises is called a "creep"?  Well, allow ours to "creep" into your heart and adopt this Donnashello, Butterbean, and Tortellini!  Our group can be seen hanging out with the Aldabra Giant tortoises in the Children's Center in the summer, and in the warm & humid nursery in the colder months.  Just don't wear bright colored shoes around them, or they might mistake your sneaker for some delicious berries! 

Galapagos tortoises are one of the two largest species of tortoise in the world, reaching over 3 feet long and up to 450 lbs!  They have been known to live over 100 years.   Galapagos tortoises are listed as Endangered on the IUCN red list.
